ABCO launches Z Series computer lab training tables
Special features earn this new product an A for advanced value
NeoCon World's Trade Fair 2009: The Merchandise Mart, Space 8-3094
CHICAGO - June 2009 - Do you know the type of person who doesn't draw unnecessary attention, yet professionally and elegantly gets the job done right? The product development team at ABCO Office Furniture wants to introduce you to that same type of table: the new Z Series for computer lab training.
"Many customers want to create spaces with design integrity even if they're working on a tight budget," says Paul James, designer of ABCO's new training table. "In this case, a table's silhouette is its most distinctive design element. That's why the Z Series has a grand gesture - not pompous - but a forward stance with some energy, which is just the right level of action. It complements the space and increases the overall value for today's design-conscious customers."
The new Z Series in computer lab training rooms will be offered with optional keyboard trays, CPU holders and monitor arms. The table tops are made of high-pressure laminate, with optional, pop-up data/power access. The base is an oval aluminum extrusion with cast aluminum foot on glides or casters. Between them, the upright is angled, creating that distinctive Z Series stance. Another new feature is the deluxe modesty panel, offering a large degree of freedom for specifiers at this price point.
The Z.2 computer lab training table offers straight, pierced modesty panel, optional horizontal wire management and integrated vertical wire management. It is available in 12 different sizes, starting at 20x36 inches and increasing to 30x72 inches.
The Z.3 model offers a curved, drop-down pierced modesty panel. A central beam with a horizontal tray holds lay-in cords, power strip or Byrne 4-Trac electrical components, which can daisy-chain from station to station. The beam is easily accessed from the user side of the table. The Z.3 model is available in eight different sizes, starting at 24x36 inches and increasing to 30x72 inches.
